Hello! I am available for technical art and creative production.
EbSynth is a non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) tool that uses example-based image synthesis to transfer the style of a hand-painted "keyframe" onto a video.
In my research and development,
I was among the first to discover that EbSynth worked well with alpha channels, contrary to popular workflow of filling empty space with green for keying. This discovery was shared with my cohorts which decreased artifacting of export frames, leading to an overall cleaner output and less time wasted redrawing and adding unecessary extra keyframes.
Keyframes were drawn in Photoshop-adjacent software (Affinity)
Project was edited in Blender
I have also collaborated with YouTubers who specialize in content using this software. On my end I recorded footage using principals that create the best output. Shooting with flat colors, plain backgrounds, and sectioning and layering clothing items for the most visual distinction possible.
